What is a Wholesale Investor Certificate?
A Wholesale Investor Certificate is a document issued and signed by an accountant with the relevant authority that verifies your status as a Wholesale client per Section 72 of the Corporations Act (Cth).
A Wholesale Certificate enables you to access investment products not offered to retail investors who typically have a lower capability to invest.
An accountant will only issue a Wholesale Certificate if, in their professional opinion, you fit one of these criteria.
Wholesale Investor Certificates must be renewed every 2 years.
IPO Wealth investors that are capable of investing $500,000 or more are not required to provide a Wholesale Investor Certificate as they automatically qualify as a Wholesale client.
