Updated: Nov 28, 2019

Mayfair 101 has appointed Amit Pau to the Mayfair 101 advisory board. Mr Pau joins prominent Australian businesswoman Maureen Jordan, communications expert Toby Ralph and former British diplomat Sir Phillip Thomas who've all recently taken a seat on the advisory board.

Mr Pau is a seasoned Technology, Media and Telecommunications Executive Director with over 25 years of expertise in the TMT industry. A previous Global MD of Vodafone’s Fortune 500 Business Unit and on the Board of Vodafone Spain (whilst listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange).

At Vodafone, he created Vodafone Global Product Management and Channel BU, generating over £1 Billion of revenue. Amit was also instrumental in creating strategic OEM partnerships for Vodafone with BMW, Dell, IBM and Hewlett Packard. In particular under his leadership his team created leading M2M solutions for the auto industry.

After leaving the corporate world he became involved in listing several companies on AIM, the London Stock Exchange, to active technology investments.

“It is a great privilege to be part of the Mayfair advisory team” said Mr Pau of his recent appointment to the advisory board.

“I was drawn to accept a position on the Mayfair advisory board because of a number of things but firstly in particular because of the people. I hold James Mawhinney (Founder and Managing Director) of Mayfair 101 in very high regard".

“Secondly what the Mayfair team have proved and achieved in Australia is really disrupting the status quo and bringing that platform internationally is really exciting to be involved with”.

“Thirdly I feel that my skill set can help compliment some of their portfolio companies, helping them to scale their business commercially but also the entire listing process”, said Mr Pau.
